our company

Serotkin Group focuses on guiding small GovCon business growth through holistic thinking, innovative problem-solving, actionable insights, back-office support, and proposal development.

Our goal is to help you derive metrics that will shed light on areas requiring upgrades, then measure progress as improvement occurs.  Great metrics maximize value, stability, and profit.

You and your team need to create solutions that will bridge the gap between performance and targets.

Planning and execution in GovCon is hard, and often more complex than in the commercial sector.

We’ve watched as many otherwise smart and hard-working CEOs have shown over the years early successes that did not translate to envisioned growth.

We can change that. Click here to learn more.

Sample Projects

Proposal

Challenge: Complex Proposal Pricing

Seeking to capture its first prime contract, our Client bid on a Navy contract containing 130 CLINS in support of protective services.

Our role: We prepared the initial pricing, with constant iterating to adapt to the federal client’s changing requirements. Our Client unseated the incumbent to receive the award.

.

Finance

Challenge: Accounting Maturity

Our growing client needed procedural upgrades to its time-keeping systems, as it was using Excel-based timesheets and un-automated approval process. This, combined with the coming sunset of its legacy accounting/ERP platform, meant that our client needed to assess its needs and evaluate more robust product suites.

Our role: We worked with the controller to select and implement a cloud-based solution which was attuned to company requirements for long-term growth.

Growth

Challenge: Sole Source Justification

Confined to one-off labor adds to its project team by the federal client, this client sought a pathway for a larger contract that could be awarded sole source.

Our role: We partnered with agency-specific advisor and firm executives to develop a sole source justification and budget that satisfied the SBA, program office and agency contracts office.
